your questions answered:

  • How do I book with you?

A: Reach out! You can request an appointment by clicking the ‘request appointment’ button below or in the main menu. You will be redirected to the appointment request page. If you’re unsure about what services you need to book, please use the contact info listed at the bottom of the page to send a message and inquire . If you’re a new guest, you will need to send a few pictures of your hair in good natural lighting -front, back and sides, along with an inspo pic (keep in mind, this can be a pic of you from a time when you loved your hair!) and brief 2yr color history before any appointment request can be accepted. Hair pics can also be sent via text or email. In person consultations are available and may be required for some services prior to booking.

  • What products do you use?

A: After working in a 100% clean air, organic salon in NYC for 6yrs, I realized how many toxins are used in traditional salons. I can no longer stand the fumes or the idea of harming my or my clients’ health with toxic color/products when healthy alternatives exist! I use clean or organic products for color/chemical services. If you have known allergies or sensitivities to color you may schedule a patch test prior to your appt.

  • I’m not sure what I want to do to my hair.

A: If you’re open to suggestions, book a consultation and I would be thrilled to help guide you toward a color/style that suits your features, coloring and lifestyle! I also recommend doing a little inspo search on Pinterest or Instagram! Search styles that look similar to your hair type/texture and existing color. If you have pictures of your own hair from a time you really loved it, bring those along!

  • Is it best to arrive with clean or unwashed hair?

A: Clean hair is best for any service. If you’re having a curly or dry haircut please have your hair styled as you would when wearing your hair down.

  • What should I wear to my appointment?

A: Dress comfortably. Try to avoid your favorite turtle neck or silk white blouse when you come in for your service. Many a funerals have occurred for lovely clothes.

  • Can I bring my besties to my appointment?

A: Since space is limited in the salon it is best if your friends and family wait for you at the nearby cafe/bar!

  • Do you take Venmo?

A: Yes! Cash, card or Venmo are all accepted forms of payment.

  • What if I need to cancel my appointment?

A: Things come up! If you need to cancel please provide 48hr prior notice to avoid 50% of your missed service charge. Less than 24hr notice will require a charge of 100% of the services. This is by no means intended as a punishment but to cover the expense of an unfilled reservation. An appointment slot cannot be filled with another guest if there isn’t enough notice given. Thank you for your cooperation.
